I don't usually watch the anime, but when I saw Hinata as a child, looking from a distance, at Naruto on his swing; I just HAD to draw a picture of Hinata giving Naruto the "push" that he needed to pull through his troubled childhood.

Hinata had a similar childhood, where she had to compete with Neji, and where everyone saw her as a frail person. So she knows what Naruto's going through.

I bet Hinata had wanted to do that from the very beginning.
